YOU CAN
HELP!
Having
just been recognized as a non-profit, we are in desperate need of
not only financial donations but also donations of value. Both are
equally important to assure that Canine Cancer Awareness succeeds
and proceeds in our vision of helping dogs with cancer live as
healthy and lengthy of a life as possible. Below are links to
specific ways of giving.
ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIPS
Becoming an Associate
Member of Canine Cancer Awareness is a wonderful way for you to show
your support for this wonderful cause. You will be recognized on our
"About us" page as an associate member and will, from time to time,
receive newsletters about any current events. Although you will be
recognized as a member of CCA, you will not have voting privileges,
but are certainly welcome, but not committed to, joining any
sub-committees to help us spread the word and/or raise desperately
needed funds. The minimum dues required to be an Associate
Member are $15.00 but you may donate the amount of your choice. A $1.50 Shipping
and Handling fee is added to the dues.
Please click the ribbon to activate your membership.
THE
GIFT OF KNOWLEDGE
We at
CCA are not veterinarians, therefore the information we are able to
provide on this website has been generously provided by those
veterinarians, universities and agencies who believe in our
cause and what we are striving to achieve.
If you
are a veterinarian with knowledge of any of the canine
cancers and treatment options, especially those
that are not listed in this site, we could use the
donation of your time and expertise. It is in helping us that
we can help others.
We are
also in need of the assistance of a veterinarian who specializes in
holistic medicine when it comes to dealing with cancer. Time is
valuable and the gift of yours would be a valued
donation.
BEQUESTS
By
remembering Canine Cancer Awareness in your will or life
insurance policy, your legacy of caring for animals will continue
long after you are gone.
Once you
have provided for the people you love, you may want to consider a
bequest to Canine Cancer Awareness. Naming Canine Cancer
Awareness, Inc. will strengthen the organization and increase
its financial security to provide treatment for cancer stricken
dogs each year. A bequest could take one of the following
forms:
A specific bequest: "I
devise and bequeath to Canine Cancer Awareness, the sum of
$____ (or, ___% of my estate) to be used for the organization's
general purposes."
A residuary bequest:
"I devise and bequeath to Canine Cancer Awareness, all (or specify
___%) of the rest, residue and remainder of my estate, whether real,
personal or mixed, to be used for the organization's general
purposes."

DIRECT FINANCIAL
DONATIONS
If you would
like to make a direct donation to help someone who has been faced
with canine cancer but simply cannot afford to pay their precious
pets' veterinary costs and to help us promote Canine Cancer
Awareness, there are two ways of donating. You may make an instant
donation using your credit card using the link below or by
mailing a check.
To those
who donate to a specific dog (either in honor of or in memory of), a
certificate of acknowledgment will be mailed to that dog's
owner. When available, a photo of the dog who's named
in the donation, will be incorporated into the
certificate.
With any donation of
$100 or more, you will also receive a great autographed CD,
"Stories from the alley" generously donated by The Mad
Housewives, Toronto based recording artists. You can visit
their website and listen to samples of the songs at www.madhousewives.com.
You will not be disappointed and will help a great cause at the same
time.
This donation will be made through
PayPal using the credit card of your choice
Or, if you prefer, you can mail a check
to:
Canine Cancer Awareness, Inc.
44 Devoe Street
Brooklyn, NY 11211
AFFILIATE LINKS
If you would like to assist
us but aren't comfortable donating directly, there are other
ways for you to help. A percentage of your purchase from any of our
affiliates below will go towards the Canine Cancer Awareness
"Precious Days" fund.
We have chosen to list them here rather than
scattering them, and over commercializing the website. If you are a
regular patron of any of these merchants, please consider coming to
this site and linking to them from here.
